The 4 Bedroom Forest View Villas present an alternative view, as they sit nestled in a natural coastal wetland forest with glimpses of the Broadwater beyond.

The Marine Accommodation is perched over the lagoon and marina, an array of architect designed options.

Choose between deluxe, suite, lodges or villas and enjoy the panoramic water views of the marina, lagoon or broadwater. The contemporary range of rooms is designed with a natural, open-style architecture & marble bathrooms. All rooms are fitted with screens to let the gentle breezes in and keep the unwanted insects out.

Marine Suite: Is a 1 bedroom apartment design, with the master bedroom separate to a spacious lounge room complete with 2 sofa lounges. 2 Bedroom Lodge: Designed as a stand-alone private accommodation with full self-catering facilities. Allows centralised access to all resort facilities from a truly homely environment. 4 Bedroom Villa: Spacious and fully self-contained, covering two levels and comfortably furnished with a choice of either waterfront of forest view (price differences apply). The Villa's ground level has 3 bedrooms, marble bathroom and vast open common area. The second level features the master bedroom with master bathroom, a full kitchen, open plan dining room and lounge seating 8, then flowing out to an open top floor balcony with BBQ facilities and views of the island's natural surrounds. Couran Cove Island Resort offers a diverse range of dining experiences from relaxed yet sophisticated Australian dining in The Restaurant to a gourmet picnic hamper.

Couran Cove Island Resort offers 3 superb restaurants with an accent on fresh local produce and friendly service. Or if you want a quiet night in your room our Home Delivery service delivers meals or takeaway pizzas to your door for dinner.

Childrens meal plans are available and payable direct to the resort.

The Restaurant: Sit outside and take in the calm of the lagoon, dine inside amongst the buzz of a busy restaurant or simply relax on the western decking overlooking the Broadwater and gateway to the island. The Restaurant's fresh local ingredients are the foundation of our contemporary Australian menus and reflect the ‘healthy living' focus of the entire resort. Open for dinner from 5.30pm till late (last orders at 8.30pm).

Boardwalk Bar and Cafe: Choose from a range of Asian influenced café meals or, for light meals while ‘on the run', a selection of gourmet sandwiches. Enjoy coffees, specialty teas and freshly squeezed juices and indulge in a selection of mouth-watering cakes and desserts. By night the Boardwalk Bar & Café boasts a diverse menu with an international flavour. Open daily from 8.00am.

Poolside Cafe & Bar: Nestled in an oasis of swimming pools at the heart of the lagoon, the Poolside Café offers a vast selection of a -la-carte meals. Open from 7.00am to 8.30pm daily.

The General Store: Provides fresh fruit, vegetables, groceries, dairy products freshly baked bread and juices along with delicatessen items, newspapers, pharmaceuticals, books and children's toys. Open daily from 9.00am to 6.00pm.

Day Spa: Complete spa and rejuvenation centre and is located in the resorts marina area. The Day Spa offers a full range of treatments - such as yoga and tai chi classes, massage and facial treatments - and is open to all resort guests in one of the most relaxed environments you can find.

Kites Kids Club: Provides sports, creative & environmental activities for children aged 3 - 12 years of age. Activities include arts and crafts, beach games and much more.

Getting There

Travelling from Brisbane:
Heading south along the Pacific Highway, take Exit 57 to Hope Island (two kilometres past Dreamworld). Follow the signs indicating Highway 4 to Hope Island on the Oxenford-Southport Road. Continue through the roundabout that leads to Sanctuary Cove. Travel one kilometre and then turn left at the following roundabout into Sickle Avenue. Follow Sickle Avenue until you come to John Lund Drive on your left hand side. Departure terminal is located on the left hand side.

Travelling from the Gold Coast:
Heading north on the Pacific Highway take Exit 57 at Oxenford. Turn right across the overpass and follow the signs indicating Highway 4 to Hope Island Oxenford-Southport Road. Continue through the roundabout that leads to Sanctuary Cove. Travel one kilometre and then turn left at the following roundabout into Sickle Avenue. Follow Sickle Avenue until you come to John Lund Drive on your left hand side. Departure terminal is located on the left hand side.

Brisbane/Coolangatta Airport transfers:
Brunel Worldwide Chauffeur Drive offer coach airport transfers, departing both Brisbane Airport and Coolangatta Airport; one-way and return journeys to Hope Harbour Marina.

Fast Cat Ferry:
Couran Cove Island Resort is just a 40 minute Fast Cat Ferry from the Departure Terminal at Hope Harbour Marina, John Lund Drive, Hope Island on the northern end of the Gold Coast (only 50 minutes drive south of Brisbane).

Ferry Departs Hope Harbour Marina, John Lund Drive:
10.30am; 2.00pm; 4.00pm; 6.00pm; and 8.00pm (Fri and Sat only)

Ferry Departs Couran Cove Resort:
9.00am; 12.00pm; 3.00pm; 5.00pm; 7.00pm; and 9.00pm (Fri and Sat only)

Additional Information

Children: 0-2 years utilizing a cot stay free of charge. 3-14 years sharing a room with parents stay free in existing bedding. Children 15 years and over are charged at adult rates.
